  1. Eat Before Lunch - Eat a few baby carrots or an apple 15 minutes before lunch. Doing so will reduce your appetite and make it easier for you to eat less.
  2. Eat More Fiber - (Dietary) Fiber enhances the feeling of fullness, reduces cravings, and suppresses appetite.
  3. Eat Slowly - When you eat your food slowly then your brain has enough time to receive the message that you are full. The brain takes 10 minutes to receive the message that you are full from your stomach.
  4. Drink More Water! - Water is a great appetite suppressant. Drink a glass of water or more before every meal.
  5. Eliminate Temptation - Remove any food (especially snacks) from your sight. Don't have candy on your work desk or anywhere visibile around your house.
  6. Do Not Skip Meals - Going too long without a meal can lead to irresistible cravings.
  7. Use Smaller Plates Or Bowls - We all want a plate or bowl full of food and most people finish their food. A smaller plate gives you the same feeling but you will eat less and still feel full and satisfied.
  8. Be In A Good Mood - This is not easy but try to eliminate sources of stress and anger in your life.
